It was an absolute blast to finally watch Catie and Gabe tie the knot with the best of Duluth as their backdrop. The Lift Bridge was in full swing and there was a festival happening at Bayfront. Adding to the festivities of the popular point in Duluth was the beautiful celebration of these two amazing humans.
Catie is an Engineer and Gabe is an Industrial Arts (aka ‘shop’) teacher. In a nutshell: These are two accomplished individuals. Their passions came out in their individual ways during our planning and celebration of their day. Catie has a quiet and warm presence and Gabe is creative and wears his emotions on his sleeve. Honestly, I think Gabe wins the award for the most tears shed before their first look.
Every detail was planned to perfection, including all the table decorations and cake topper which Gabe made himself. Typically the bride takes command of those types of details, but it was refreshing to see the groom’s talents on display. Throughout the event there were touches of his creativity, including the chunk of wood that Gabe used to pop the question.
Surrounded by friends and family (so many kids!!) they said “I Do” to spending the rest of their days together. Congratulations Catie, Gabe, and your entire families! I could genuinely feel the love that crossed over to both sides throughout your amazing wedding day! I’m so honored you allowed us to capture that end-of-the-evening HIGH FIVE! Congratulations!
