Kaitlin + Tyler || Bitter Sweet Wedding Day

At long last, I present Kaitlin and Tyler.

Their wedding day, October 29th, was about the most beautiful, autumn day imaginable for Duluth, Minnesota. Warm temps, sunny skies, and a light breeze. Surrounded by family and friends to support them, they said “I do” with Lake Superior softly rippling in the background.

While their day was filled with laughter and smiles, it was also a bitter sweet day as Kaitlin’s family said goodbye to her grandmother Pat just minutes after the ceremony was streamed to her in the hospital. For me, it was easy to see the raw emotions that filled Kaitlin’s family, but it was also beautiful to hear so many stories about a woman who was clearly loved and who was devoted to her family. Her presence was felt by all. Her celebration of life was held this week, and I wanted to let the family grieve her passing before sharing these photos. I hope the memory of the beautiful day celebrating the love of Kaitlin and Tyler brings joy and happiness!
