One thing I believe whole-heartedly is that it’s so important to plan your wedding day in a way that is going to reflect who you are at a couple and allow you to be at ease and enjoy the day to the fullest. For some, this means to get married in a church, book a venue and entertainment and to dance the night away. For others, it could mean getting on an airplane and tying the knot with just a couple of people at a favorite vacation location. For Stephanie and Erik, it meant getting married at their farm surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Don’t mistake their backyard wedding for a celebration that was lacking in details. This was such a fun day complete with yard games, s’mores and whisky stations by the fire, and a smokin’ BBQ food truck to supply dinner. As an added bonus, the barn cats, chickens, and even their new puppy got in on the action. Congratulations Steph and Erik and may you continue to live the dream on your little slice of paradise! Don’t forget what I said – when I’m in desperate need of some quiet time, don’t be surprised if you see me checking out your chickens or just relaxing by your fire pit!
