Megan + Justin || Lake Superior Wedding

The last time we caught up with Megan and Justin, they were a family of three with their adorable daughter, Mara. Since then, they’ve added Mack and are just the cutest couple ever! Megan always said she wanted an autumn celebration and wow, did she get her dream.

For those who live in the Twin Ports, it’s common knowledge that in October, it could be side-ways raining, snowing, windy, warm, or all of that mixed up into one day. They got the beautiful fall color, and mild temps but gale force winds which really tossed up Lake Superior to create one of the most beautiful backdrops for them I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.

Their first date took them to the Up Bar (above the iconic Grandma’s Restaurant on Canal Park) and it was only appropriate that they had their official start to their reception and first dance (shhhh, don’t tell everyone else) at this special spot.

The reception kicked into high gear when Megan’s sister Allie challenged the guys side to a game of flip cup – IT WAS ON. I’ll let you scroll down to see which side won. The celebration was long, loud, and raucous.
